A two-hour walking and tram tour, starting at the new Fair Park Station, will highlight recent restoration projects within the park including the new DART station itself, the water show and Esplanade Fountain, the Tenor and Contralto sculptures and some buildings that are typically not open to the public. The tour will explain the origins of the Six Flags Over Texas and the meaning behind the Texas Woofus sculpture. Tour starts at the Parry Avenue entrance gate/DART station at 5:00pm sharp. The tour will be guided by Nancy McCoy, FAIA. There is a 50 person maximum so hurry and register.
