The AIA Dallas Emerging Leaders Program has received the 2010 AIA Grassroots Excellence Award for their successful entry in the Continuing Education Outstanding Single Program category.

The jury was impressed with the AIA Dallas’ Emerging Leaders ten month, one day a week program that identifies, cultivates, and mentors emerging professionals for leadership in the firm, the profession, and the community. Furthermore, the program’s ongoing evaluation process, which includes the use of several evaluation methods, helps to ensure that the program is effective and of value to members. As a result, they have been able to influence positive decisions that have made a significant impact upon the profession.

AIA Dallas was recognized for its outstanding accomplishments during the 2010 Grassroots Leadership & Legislative Conference. For more information on the conference click here.

The program focuses on bringing emerging leaders together from prominent Architectural firms in the Dallas area.
Discussions provide leadership within the community, industry and individual firms.  It involves monthly meetings where
participants discuss relationship and leadership skills with various panelists and the group.
