AIA+2030 Professional Series
AIA Dallas’ AIA+2030 Professional Series presented by Big Ass Fans, will provide plenty of take-home materials so that the staff members you send to each class will come back ready to share.
You can send the same people to the entire 10-session series, or spread the wealth by allowing someone new to “take your seat” each month. The courses address topics such as waste heat recovery, energy modeling, active solar heat systems, and a variety of techniques and strategies specific to creating the type of buildings we need to be creating in the future.
Our Keynote speaker will be Ed Mazria! Your ticket for the series also includes a ticket to this keynote event.
Ed is the founder of Architecture 2030 and developed and issued the 2030 Challenge. He speaks nationally and internationally on the subject of architecture, design, energy and climate change and has taught architecture at several universities including the University of New Mexico, University of Oregon and UCLA.
Speakers that will be taking part of our series, just to name a few, include:
Heather Holdridge - Sustainability Manager at Lake Flato Architects
Kim Shinn - Principal and Senior Sustainability Consultant with TLC Engineering for Architecture. Also part of the USGBC Board of Directors from 2006 to 2009.
