Biography

Marcel has observed and participated in the transition of inner-city neighborhoods from neglected and unappreciated to thriving and popular. She is an architect with Gensler specializing in preservation. She also serves on the City of Dallas Urban Design Peer Review panel. She has served as president of AIA Dallas and Preservation Dallas, and has served on the board of advisers of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, as well as similar boards for the city and state.
