Join us for a tour of Avison Young’s WELL certified office in the 1920 McKinney Building.

Avison Young is a commercial real estate business that relocated to Dallas’ Uptown area in 2018. Designing their new workplace was the perfect opportunity to envision a new kind of office  – one that emphasizes the health and well-being  of their employees. Working with Perkins&Will architecture firm and Schmidt & Stacy Consulting Engineers, Avison  Young chose to pursue WELL certification at the Silver level for the space. The new office features ample natural light and beautiful views. Its layout promotes conversation and collaboration between Avison Young team members. Other wellness features include sit-stand desks to encourage movement throughout the day, and healthy snacks served in the break room. Avison Young achieved WELL Silver certification under WELL version 1.0 in 2020.

Directions: The building is at the intersection of Harwood and McKinney Avenue. If driving, enter the building from the parking garage entrance on McKinney Avenue. Consider taking DART to the St. Paul Station. From there you can easily walk to Avison Young in 15 minutes, or you can take the M-Line Trolley to Klyde Warren Park, where the building is located just a block away.
