The presentation explores the architectural uses of precast and precast prestressed concrete within the Total Precast Concrete framework. The program takes a brief journey through design, manufacture, and erection of precast concrete. Along the way the audience is exposed to the individual components and architectural features that make up the systems of precast concrete design and erection.

About the Presenter:
Chris Lechner is Executive Director of Precast Concrete Manufacturers’ Association of Texas and has 33 years of construction industry experience. Starting his career with nursery stock growers then plumbers, Lechner moved into the concrete industry in 2000 with the Ohio Concrete Masonry Association until 2007 when he was recruited to lead the PCMA. Lechner enjoys public speaking and brings his experiences to his presentations. Lechner resides in New Braunfels, Texas with his wife Tamara.
