Established in 1954, WRA Architects has been in continuous operation for more than 60 years as a K-12 educational specialist architect. The firm has worked for more than 70 public school districts in Texas and Oklahoma and designed more than 1,100 K-12 projects, including new schools, additions, renovations, and upgrades. WRA and our clients have received more than 120 design awards, including 70 awards in the past  decade alone.

At WRA, we believe the design of schools must meet a three-fold standard. First, design a secure environment to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the students, faculty, and administration. Second, design sturdy, efficient buildings that are cost-effective to construct, operate, and maintain. Strive to always be good stewards of the public’s investment. Third, it is said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, the general aesthetic should reflect the values of the community that the architecture represents.
