DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, April 17\, 6:00 – 7:30 PM\nFREE\, Virtual Event \nNearly two years ago\, a group of queer architects came together to tell their stories about what being Out in Architecture meant to them. However\, since then\, administrations have changed\, and the queer community is under attack\, from anti-trans legislation to formerly supportive corporate partners pulling away from DEI initiatives. \nJoin us as we discuss with several authors what being Out in Architecture means in this environment. We’ll discuss challenges we are facing within architecture\, what steps we are taking to protect ourselves and families\, and how we can advocate for one another in the current political climate.
