DESCRIPTION:Join the AIA Dallas Latinos in Architecture (LiA) network at Whose Books on July 21 for the From an Architect’s Bookshelf Book Tour\, an evening celebrating the books that have inspired and influenced our architectural education and practice. Come ready to hear about and share the books that you love with the next generation of architects in North Texas. Admission proceeds will support ARCO (Activating Reading Communities Organization). \nThe event also serves as a donation drop-off for the From an Architect’s Bookshelf book drive\, a program providing architecture books and supplies to local high schools. Since its launch\, the initiative has distributed hundreds of donated resources\, many personalized with a dedication from the donor to inspire the next generation of designers. Bring a book to contribute\, discover new favorites\, and network with peers while supporting access to architectural education.
