SUMMARY:Small Firms Roundtable: TBAE Q&A with Mike Alvarado and Steve Ramirez
DESCRIPTION:The Small Firms Roundtable is pleased to welcome Mike Alvarado and Steve Ramirez from the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE) for an open discussion on licensure\, regulation\, and professional practice as they relate to small firms. \nMike and Steve will provide a brief overview of TBAE’s role\, followed by a moderated conversation and audience Q&A addressing topics such as licensing pathways\, renewals\, continuing education\, business registration requirements\, and enforcement processes. \nThis session will focus on how these regulations affect day-to-day operations\, professional responsibility\, and risk management within small-firm practice—and will offer an opportunity to gain clarity and ask questions directly of the officials who administer them. \nThis program is under review by AIA CES for continuing education credits.
