Anthony Rash
Anthony Rash, NOMA, LEED BD+C is a design professional whose practice is deeply informed by a critical and historical understanding of the built environment. His academic foundation was laid at Northeastern University in Boston, where he began to connect design to its broader social and economic contexts.
Anthony’s professional experience at international design studios combined with his community-focused work with bcWORKSHOP, provides a practical foundation for his evolving philosophy. He actively seeks to integrate frameworks of historical materialism and dialectics into architectural practice, viewing buildings and cities not as static objects, but as dynamic products of social, economic, and material forces. This theoretical approach drives his desire to create architecture that is not only responsive but also critically engaged in the processes of urban change.
He has graduated from the AIA Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) and is an active member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). Anthony’s work ultimately strives to synthesize design excellence with a rigorous, principled inquiry into how architecture can both reflect and shape a more equitable world.
