William Richardson, AIA Emeritus

Architect, artist, raconteur and bon vivant, William Richardson, AIA Emeritus has been a contributor to Columns Magazine for over thirty years. During his nearly five decades in the design industry, he has experienced changes from hand drafting to virtual modeling and from carbon paper to artificial intelligence in projects as small as a thousand dollars and as large as eight-hundred million. He now devotes his time to writing, community service, and family adventures. Mr. Richardson continues to serve in his community of Mesquite, TX as Chairman of the Landmark Commission, church elder, and Boy Scout leader.
