Job Description: Architect I
The Registered Architect will work with firm Principals on shared projects, direct and maintain their own projects and project schedules, and will coordinate and collaborate with the firm Principals. They will be responsible for carrying out tasks in a self-motivated process. Our work offers a broad range of project types and complexities and allows our Architects a diverse project base with opportunities to gain experience on various project types, without compartmentalization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion, and hold the responsibility for finished plans, specifications, or approval of materials and construction and associated documentation and correspondence.
- Apply sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields.
- Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Independently solves problems encountered.
- Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.
- You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and team members to deliver high-quality, innovative designs and direct and lead client and consultant meetings.
- Work with firm Principals occasionally on shared projects.
- Responsible for assisting in and developing the production of construction documents in Revit.
The Architect will utilize their expertise in design, documentation, and construction to ensure that projects requirements are on time, within budget, and to client’s satisfaction.
