Project Architect / Project Coordinator

Project Architect / Coordinator Responsibilities:

We are a small, hands-on firm, so these are generalist positions and you should expect to do almost everything eventually.  We need a self motivated, hard working person with strong design skills and the propensity to learn technical skills.

Project Architects / Coordinators will work with a firm principal to plan, design, and document assigned projects to achieve the goals of our clients, their stakeholders, and our own standards of quality. 

Tasks include but are not limited to collaboration with team leader and co-workers, drawing in BIM, working on construction documents, editing specifications, attending client meetings, coordinating with consultants and engineers, and construction administration. 

Qualifications:

A professional degree, either a B. Arch or an M.Arch from an accredited university, is required. Licensed for 1+ years or on the path to licensure (aka already taking exams or acquiring AXP hours)

3-8 years experience is required (but more is OK, too), preferably in commerical (not single family) projects of high design quality. We don’t micro-manage, so a strong ability to self-start, to organize your own working process, and to deliver and meet given deadlines.
