| PRODUCTION DRAFTSMAN / ARCHITECT Larry E. Boerder Architects (LEBA) is looking for an experienced Production Draftsman/Architect with 10+ years’ experience of working in residential architecture (preferably traditional and classical residential architecture). Production is the engine that drives our firm. As a business we pride ourselves on the fast and efficient turnaround of Design Development and Construction Documents to advance the client’s project as quickly as possible. As a Production Draftsman/Architect you will be responsible for realizing the creative vision of the design team, producing CAD drawings that are complete, considered and cohesive. You will have the experience and interpersonal skills to liaise with interior designers to understand and incorporate the needs and desires of the client. Over the course of 40 years our proven recipe for success is simple; producing some of the most detailed, extensive sets of Construction Documents in the business. It is this which, above all else, we believe sets us apart from the competition and is lauded by contractors and interior designers alike. A substantial part of the role will be working with top tier builders, including Pencil Point Construction, LEBA’s in-house construction company, offering the successful applicant the chance to gain advanced and in-depth experience in Contract Administration. Other duties will include: – Drawing all elements of the Construction Documents in CAD; – Reviewing shop drawings and leading Contract Administration; – Liaising with General Contractors to develop a bid package and control estimate; – General Project Management; – Liaising with subcontractors and other vendors; – Supervising Junior Draftsmen. Compensation – Competitive hourly salary, commensurate with experience and potential; – Health Insurance – employer pays 50%; – Simple IRA with 3% matching; – Discretionary bonuses. |
