Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House; Thornton Tomasetti served as engineer of record, from design development through completion, and as curtain wall consultant throughout the project. The award-winning building is one of three new venues in the Dallas Arts District’s master plan. The 210,000-square-foot, 2,200-seat Winspear Opera House is inspired by traditional Italian horseshoe vocal theaters and revolutionizes the style to create an innovative standard for the 21st century Foster + Partners (Design Architect) and Kendall/Heaton Associates, Inc. The Fairmont Austin- is a 37- story, 1,000-key convention center hotel. The project includes ballrooms, a luxury spa, landscaped terraces with two pools and a skybridge. Four below-grade levels will accommodate parking, service areas and administrative offices. Gensler
1920 McKinney- a 15-level, 115,104 square-foot office tower located in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas. The project also includes a 470-car, 214,345 square-foot above and below grade parking garage.
Texas Christian University Stadium Renovation- The renovation includes demolition of the existing west upper seating bowl, and the 548,000-square-foot addition of two new
seating decks (16,000 seats) on the west side, club seating, founder’s
club lounge, and a new seating deck at the north end zone with a 36-foot
by 56-foot high-definition video display. Phase 2 is the east side
renovation, which includes a new 10,874-seat upper seating bowl.
Turtle Creek Offices-  A new 150,000 square-foot build-to-suit office structure. The program includes office space, museum space, a cafeteria, event space, and meeting rooms. The
structural design includes a 105,000-square-foot below-grade parking garage.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, Acute Care Expansion-Thornton Tomasetti provided structural design services for Hamon Tower, an award-winning 512,000-square-foot medical complex that is Presbyterian Hospital’s largest expansion project in its 40-year history. The prominent structure, with its 10-story concrete frame, fits among six adjoining buildings,
while maintaining its distinct presence.
Las Vegas City Center, Block A-The crown jewel of the 76-acre City Center development  on the Las Vegas Strip, consists of a 61-story, five-star hotel tower of unique intersecting curved wings with 4,000 rooms and elegant entrance canopies, a convention center, a casino, a theater, a retail podium, a bridge, and a central plant serving the entire complex. Devon Energy Center- At 850 feet, the 50-story world headquarters building for Devon Energy is the tallest building in Oklahoma. The office tower houses a seven-level rotunda, a six-level podium and below-grade parking.
