FROM AN ARCHITECT'S BOOKSHELF 2021 - LATINOS IN ARCHITECTURE BOOK DRIVE
By now, you may have seen a box in your office for the annual From An Architect's Bookshelf book drive hosted by Latinos in Architecture. Each year, LiA collects books about architecture and design to donate to local high schools. The goal is to expose as many minority students to the profession of architecture as we can. To donate, simply bring a book or periodical (no magazines, please) to place in the box. Books should be in good condition, contain current information, and be about architecture or another design-related field like landscape architecture or even photography. We will also accept new or gently used drafting supplies such as trace paper, t-squares, and scales.
Books can be donated at the following firms or at the AD EX. Contact Amanda if you would like a box placed at your firm!
- Michael Baker International
- Burns & McDonnell
Following collection, all books will be sorted and labeled at the AD EX. Sign up here to volunteer to help us pick up, sort, and label books.
