Firmily Feud is back again!
The first, totally/sort-of original game show created by AIA Dallas has provided the answers to some of the toughest questions ever asked to the public about architecture. The latest edition, hosted in partnership with Downtown Dallas Inc., and the Dallas Center for Architecture (DCFA) Foundation, brings a fitting end to an engaging slate of programming during April’s Architecture360. Now that the public is well in tune with architecture, and the practice that shapes our city, we went out an asked a slew of important questions to the citizens of Dallas. It is these same questions we will ask to some of the key individuals and groups that shape the fabric of the Downtown core.
Hosted by Robert Wilonsky of the Dallas Morning News, Firmily Feud will pit developers, city officials, non-profit groups, and members of our own media in a battle royale to find out who knows the most about design and how it is seen in the public eye. The winner will take home a trophy, of course, but perhaps more importantly a sense of ever-lasting pride that will carry far and beyond the imagination. Should an issue arise along the journey to brilliance, a "Lifeline Council" of Downtown Architects will be there to pick up the slack.
If you are not coming Monday, you are sure to miss one of the defining moments in the history of Dallas Architecture. Firmily Feud is free, open to the public, and outside in Main Street Garden; a fine combination for an fun night out.
