The 2018 AIA Dallas Tour of Homes Committee is well underway, and the innovation recognized in each submitted home continues to surpass our expectations! After deliberation, the selection process is now complete. Our next phase is securing partnerships with our sponsors, ensuring that they receive a rich season of benefits.
Sponsorship plays a critical role at AIA Dallas in guaranteeing that we can properly represent the immense talent in our city, and every year the Tour of Homes showcases the residential architecture built by this talent. Led by Brooke Kingery, Assoc. AIA and Danielle Anderson, Assoc. AIA, the Home Tour Sponsorship Task Force works towards meeting, or exceeding, our annual goals. Last year alone, approximately 2,500 participants went on the self-guided tour over the course of the weekend of the event. With the support of our local media supporters like Modern Luxury Dallas, Interiors Texas, D Magazine, and KERA, we have been able to employ their vast and diverse outreach capabilities to help spread the awareness of the tour as an important showcase. This is a high visibility event that has been an integral part of the Dallas community for the past thirteen years.
