Take Advantage of Our Two Leadership Development Programs
Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) Deadline Thursday, December 5th
Executive Leadership Program (ELead) Deadline Thursday, December 19th
The AIA Dallas Emerging Leaders Program, the 2013 recipient of the Texas Society of Architects' Mentorship Award, focuses on bringing emerging leaders together from prominent architectural firms in the Dallas area. The program involves monthly meetings where participants discuss relationship and leadership skills with various panelists and the group. Participants are nominated by their firm or mentor for displaying strong leadership qualities. The program's primary objective is to identify, cultivate and mentor young leaders in three areas of leadership: the firm, the profession and our community.
We are now accepting applications for the 2014 Emerging Leaders Program. Completed application and reference forms are due Thursday, December 5, 2013 by 5:00 p.m. to the Dallas Center for Architecture. Scholarship applications are due Thursday, December 19, 2013 by 5:00 p.m.
Now in its second year, the AIA Dallas Executive Leadership Program (ELead) is designed for experienced architects faced with the challenges of leading a firm, studio, or large project team. ELead's goal is to enhance the first or second tier office leader's personal leadership capabilities and effectiveness to positively influence their firm at a strategic level. The program consists of one full day and five half day seminars held each month to introduce new concepts and practices and extend knowledge.
Completed ELead applications are due Thursday, December 19, 2013 by 5:00 p.m. to the Dallas Center for Architecture.
