WiA Sketch Party

WiA members showed off their artistic talent and networked during the annual Sketch Party held on the evening of May 3rd.  Each member was asked to create two drawings: one to depict their mood, and the other to express the emotion evoked from an iconic Dallas architectural landmark. Some members used art media they were familiar with; others ventured out of their comfort zones and tried new media and techniques.

Once the drawings were completed, members were asked to describe their works of art… each was so very unique and inspirational!  At the end of the night, a vote was held to determine the group’s favorites. Three favorites were chosen, but everyone walked out feeling like a winner because of the exciting relationships that were strengthened and formed.  An amazing time was had by all.
