Architect Registration Exam Preparation: Construction Documents & Services

This customized course will lead to competency in systems and processes involved in construction documents and services. Application of project management and professional practice knowledge and skills, including the preparation of contract documents and contract administration. Upon completion of this course, participants will know how to:

• Incorporate building codes, specialty codes, zoning and other regulatory requirements in construction documents and services

• Incorporate sustainable design principles, adaptive reuse concepts, alternative energy systems, new material technologies and hazardous material mitigation in construction documents

• Prepare and coordinate construction drawings including building systems, product selection and constructability

• Manage a project, including estimates of construction cost, project schedule, project delivery method, risk management and contract administration documentation and services
