Firmily Feud: An Architectural Game Show

FREE EVENT

Hosted by Robert Wilonsky of the Dallas Morning News, teams of city leaders, architects and the media will face-off in the architecture-version of Family Feud. These teams will compete to name the most popular responses to various Dallas architecture-related questions that street teams posed to a cross-section of the general public weeks leading up to the event.

Contestants will include Philip Kingston & Adam Medrano with Dallas City Council, Shawn Todd with Todd Investments, Larry Hamilton with Hamilton Properties, John Matthews & Melanie Ferguson with Matthews Southwest, John Greenan with Central Dallas Community Development Corporation, Steve Shepherd with Downtown Residents Council/Downtown Dallas, Inc., Mark Lea with bcworkshop, Catherine Cuellar with the Arts District, Nancy McCoy with Preservation Dallas, Kelly Mitchell with DOCOMOMO, Lauren Smart with the Dallas Observer, Jeff Whittington with KERA, Peter Simek with D Magazine, Mark Lamster with the Dallas Morning News, James Rose with FOX 4 News, architects from the City of Dallas planning office, and more.

An "Architectural Lifeline" council of AIA Dallas member architects will be on hand to assist (and/or heckle) the contestants. Architectural Lifeline Council members include David Cassidy with Callison, Milton Anderson with MERRIMAN ASSOCIATES/ARCHITECTS, INC., Scott Dorn with RTKL, Joe McCall with Oglesby Greene, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to grab a drink and enjoy watching how these city experts answer some hilarious questions, and how in-touch the contestants are with the general public on all things design.
