Oswaldo Rivera-Ortiz - Richardson ISD's Architecture Program

R STUDIO mixes design-build projects, concept development, and hands-on model making with community engagement, college exposure, and professional collaboration.

Lorena Toffer, AIA – CityLab High School

An open enrollment Transformation School in Dallas ISD, CityLab High School is the first public school with a focus on Design in downtown Dallas, where students prepare for future careers in Architecture, Urban Planning and Environmental Science.

Clint Floyd - Frisco ISD Career and Technical Education Center

The Frisco CTE Center opened in 2008 with several career clusters in mind including Architecture. FISD Architecture focuses on both creative design and practical construction principles to give students the most realistic experience possible in the classroom.

Chris Carson – Lewisville ISD Career Center East

Operating on a non-traditional high school campus in Lewisville ISD, the Career Center East Architecture program provides inspiration and learning experiences for future design professionals to serve as the next generation of global game-changers.

Dan Holt, AIA – Glenn|Partners

Glenn|Partners has teamed up with Exploring and Dallas ISD’s Pinkston High School to provide a monthly mentoring opportunity to introduce the students to the profession.

Kelly Puckett – Exploring

Exploring exists to assist businesses of all kinds in easily starting their own career exploration program for local youth. In the past 3 years, 3 architecture firms and 1 interior design firm in the Dallas area have used Exploring to create their own successful program.

Nick Prather - ACE Mentor Program

The construction industry’s fasting-growing high school mentoring program, ACE Mentor Program inspires students to pursue careers in Architecture, Construction, and Engineering through hands-on
education from the professionals currently shaping the industry.

Miguel Mendez, Assoc. AIA – UTA CAMP/AIAS

The CAPPA Architecture Mentorship Program exists to support mentoring students in design excellence, curriculum, professional and leadership. Students are paired with experienced architects as they transition from school to a career in architecture.

Daniel Dain, AIA and Eduardo Arana, Assoc. AIA - Education Outreach Committee

The Education Outreach Committee engages with north Texas K-12 students, parents and teachers to be a resource to students who are interested in pursuing a career in architecture.
