Please join us at the Dallas Center for Architecture for a look at the early and current works of MitchellGarman Architects, including a residential project selected as part of the 2016 AIA Dallas Home Tour, followed by an interactive discussion on how they are building their practice, lessons learned and what it takes to make a small firm successful.

Mitchell Garman Architects is a design centered practice consisting of partners Kelly D. Mitchell, AIA and Sean K. Garman, AIA. Their focus on intimate spaces, daylighting and clarity of materials create honest, warm environments for modern living be it through their custom residential or hospitality designs. Drawing on clues from the Client, as well as their own experiences, Mitchell Garman Architects strive to create unique places that are both inviting and personal.

Please bring your own stories, tips, and advice to share with your fellow Small Firm Roundtable members as we learn from each other.

Attendees will benefit from the first-hand experience of other small firm owners in areas such as:

  • Project execution, drawing production
  • Resource and technology management
  • Client relations, marketing, referrals, networking
  • Risk management, contract language
