Major Fire and Life Safety Changes to the 2021 IBC

This one hour, intermediate level presentation will cover the major fire and life safety changes that have occurred between the 2018 IBC and the newly published 2021 IBC. Modifications, clarifications and additions to code language has occurred in a majority of the chapters, and impacting almost all occupancies & uses of buildings. The presentation will focus primarily on Chapters 2 through 10. Several major code changes have occurred in which the code provision is now more stringent than in previous editions of the code, while a few provisions have been modified to be less stringent.
