AIA Dallas Committee on the Environment (COTE), USGBC North Texas, and the CSI Dallas Chapter will host a showcase of the latest green building products and technologies for commercial and residential use. The 7th Annual NTX Sustainable Showcase will be held on Thursday, July 17 at the Dallas Arboretum and will focus on the health and environmental IMPACT of buildings and materials. Showcase is for architects, engineers, interior designers, developers, contractors, owners, facilities managers and others interested in the sustainable building industry. The event will be followed by a private social hour and garden tour.

Overview:

This year’s showcase will feature as keynote speaker David Riz, AIA, LEED AP of KieranTimberlake. As principal of the firm, he has led projects that employ experimental construction methodologies with radically altered supply chains and lofty sustainable goals. David has been responsible for numerous award-winning projects that have been featured in ArchitectArchitectural RecordMetropolis, TIMEThe New York Times, and Wired.

Panelists include Bill Walsh, Healthy Building Network; Keith Lindemuler, Nucor; Gary Christensen, Christensen Corporation; Roderick Bates, Kieran Timberlake; Stacy Glass, Cradle to Cradle, Tom Lent, Healthy Building Network, and more.
