bcWORKSHOP will share the disaster recovery housing model, RAPIDO, a temp-to-perm housing model piloted in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.  This model begins with a 400-square-foot core unit erected immediately after a natural disaster and then home expansion designed in collaboration with returning families.  It has been paired with policy recommendations, a technical guide and a comparison report.  RAPIDO will be included in a Cooper Hewitt Exhibit this Fall called "By the People: Designing a Better America".

Join us for lunch and learn more about this response to disaster that offers rapid restoration opportunities for families during a difficult time.
