This presentation will discuss copyright issues impacting architects.  The learning objectives are:

  • What constitutes intellectual property;
  • What architectural copyrights are and what they protect;
  • The possible penalties for copyright infringement; and,
  • Strategies for protecting project owners from committing copyright infringement.

PRESENTER:  Russell N. Weisbard, JD

With more than a dozen years’ experience in the practice of architecture, Russell Weisbard knows design and construction. After six years of working in the architecture and construction industry, Russell earned his architect’s license in 2006. Building on that foundation of industry experience, Russell earned his law license in 2017 and founded The Law Office of Russell N. Weisbard, PLLC.
