If the architecture of the 20th Century was defined as “form following function”, that of the 21st Century will be similarly defined as “form following performance” and will surely be dependent upon the emergence of radically new materials and methods of assembly—
Based on information gathered by his students in his seminar at the UT Arlington School of Architeture, Don Gatzke will give an overview of new material research likely to impact architecture in the next several decades.
PRESENTER: Don Gatzke, FAIA
Please register by noon on Wednesday 9/5 to be included in the head count for lunch.
Valet parking is available in the building. There are other options nearby; see map of parking options below. The best option is DART, as the St Paul Station is less than a block from Republic Center. This class will meet in the Republic Center Conference Center while AD EX is still under construction.
