CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: AIA National Honor Awards


To submit a nomination for one of the awards listed, please complete the form below with the name of the award, who you are nominating, and a brief explaination of why you believe they deserve the award (limited to 250 characters, please send lenghtier nominations & descriptions to aprocter@aiadallas.org).
 

AIA NATIONAL YOUNG ARCHITECT AWARD
Recognizes individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession in an early stage of their architectural career.
Architect members of the AIA who have been licensed to practice architecture fewer than 10 years by the submission deadline are eligible to be nominated; the term young architect has no reference to the age of nominees.

AIA NATIONAL ASSOCIATE AWARD
The AIA Associates Award is the highest award given to individual associate AIA members who best exemplify the highest qualities of leadership and have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to their component or region's membership, in the community, in professional organizations, and/or in the design and construction industries.

AIA NATIONAL COLLABORATIVE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Recognizes distinguished achievements of allied professionals, clients, organizations, architect teams, knowledge communities, and others who have had a beneficial influence on or advanced the architectural profession.

AIA NATIONAL DIVERSITY RECOGNITION PROGRAM
The AIA Diversity Recognition Program seeks to recognize architects for exemplary commitment and contributions to diversifying the profession of architecture.

AIA NATIONAL WHITNEY YOUNG AWARD
Given to an architect or architecturally-oriented organization in recognition of a significant contribution toward meeting the architectural profession’s responsibility to address current social issues.

AIA NATIONAL HONORARY AIA MEMBERSHIP
Honorary membership is one of the highest honors that The American Institute of Architects can bestow upon a person outside the profession of architecture.  Election to honorary membership is to be voted only if the accomplishments of the nominee are truly outstanding and of national significance.  

AIA NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE FIRM AWARD
The Architecture Firm Award is the highest honor the American Institute of Architects can bestow on an architecture firm for consistently producing distinguished architecture.  Any firm or successor firms, whether an individual or an organization of architects, in which the continuing collaboration among individuals of the firm has been the principal force in consistently producing distinguished architecture for a period of at least 10 years, is eligible for the Architecture Firm Award.
While serving on the Board of Directors, Board members and their firms are ineligible to be nominated for this award. No more than one such award shall be made in any year.
