2020 SUCCESS TEAM PROGRAM
We will begin accepting application for the next cohort the first week of June. This program will kick off on July 21 & 22.
AIA Dallas will provide some of the study material, and a robust study schedule. Mentors who have successfully taken and passed these exams will be guiding the team along the way.
What is the Success Team program?
The ARE Success Teams Program is an accelerated study program designed to support ARE candidates through a structured and focused approach. During the program, we will provide the materials, mentorship, and camaraderie needed to pass the Architect Registration Examination (ARE). The program is comprised of recurring study sessions where all participants gather and go over study materials, study tips, exam experiences, and occasionally compete in friendly ARE Trivia games or attend ARE lectures.
The six divisions of ARE 5.0 are organized into two tracks:
- Design Practice Track (PPD + PDD + PA)
Professional Practice Track (PcM + PjM + CE)
What is the goal of the ARE Success Teams Program?
Each participant in the program will commit to taking either one or both tracks of the program in approximately a 4-month period (for a single track) or an 8-month period (for both tracks); and aim to pass the ARE to be one step closer to becoming a licensed architect. Everyone in the program is expected to continue to offer support to their fellow teammates throughout their testing experience.
Who Can Participate?
Associates with an active NCARB record who are eligible to test are welcome. Participants are required to show proof of ARE Eligibility from NCARB. AIA Dallas and Northeast Texas members will have priority to enroll.
Why should you Participate in the Success Teams Program?
Many ARE candidates have difficulties passing the exams. This program offers an opportunity for candidates to find support, share successes (and failures), and get questions answered. The Success Team program is structured to encourage ARE candidates so they can stay on track & not delay testing/studying. The program provides access to study materials and mentors.
The current teams are seeing better pass rate than the national average!
Participants may enroll in one track at a time.
$150 for AIA Dallas and AIA Northeast Texas members | $220 for non-members
The second cycle in 2020 kicks off in mid July:
Design Track (PA - PPD - PDD) - Jul 21, and subsequent Tuesdays for up to 21 weeks
Pro-Practice Track (PcM - PjM - CE) - Jul 22, and subsequent Wednesdays for up to 17 weeks
