Katie Hitt, Assoc. AIA

Katie is the Managing Director at the Dallas Architecture and Design Exchange (AD EX), home to the AIA Dallas Chapter and the Architecture and Design Foundation. In this role, she leverages her passion, creativity, and extensive network to craft impactful programs, partnerships, and outreach efforts, elevating the perception and accessibility of the architecture profession. Previously, Katie dedicated ten years to AIA Dallas and worked with AIA Dallas as Managing Editor of Columns magazine in a role that combines her two lifelong passions of architecture and journalism. Currently, she continues her work with Columns as Editor at Large. Katie has served on several boards and task forces, spoken at national and regional conferences, and is the 2023 Texas Society of Architects Associate Member of the Year. She is the proud mother of two young children.
