Katie Hitt Deaton, Assoc. AIA, serves as the Social Media & Trade Advertising Specialist at Acme Brick Company’s Fort Worth headquarters, where she develops and implements innovative strategies to increase brand visibility, foster engagement, and drive conversions across Acme’s extensive network of sales and distributor locations throughout North America. Previously, Katie was the Managing Director at the Dallas Architecture and Design Exchange (AD EX) and served as Managing Editor of AIA Dallas’ Columns magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and has received numerous accolades, including the Associates Award at the national, state, and local levels. Katie is actively involved in AIA Fort Worth, Texas Society of Architects, and AIA National, serving on committees and advisory groups focused on education outreach and integrating design education through architecture. She has also served on various boards, including the Greater Dallas Planning Council and the City of Dallas Development Advisory Board. In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling, reading, working on her mid-century modern home, and exploring Fort Worth with her family.
