A proud native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joe McAuliff embarked on his journey in the construction industry after graduating from The University of Oklahoma’s esteemed construction science program. He embarked on his career, initially honing his skills in both traditional and cutting-edge surveying techniques.

As the industry’s landscape evolved, Joe transitioned into a tech-focused role that would redefine industry standards. He became a catalyst for innovation, championing groundbreaking approaches to as-built standards and fostering seamless collaboration through Building Information Modeling (BIM). His passion for pushing boundaries led him to spearhead numerous design-assist discussions, exploring the boundless potential of drone image captures, laser scanning, and VDC initiatives.

Joe’s expertise and vision have positioned him at the forefront of technology in the AEC industry. He has shared his insights as a distinguished panelist on several technology forums, shedding light on the transformative power of BIM and VDC.

In March 2022, he embraced a new challenge by joining The BECK Group as a VDC Manager in their Dallas office. His excitement stems from the BECK Group’s commitment to an integrated Design-Build workflow, which aligns perfectly with his mission to eliminate waste in both the design and construction phases of the building process.

Currently, Joe serves as the Technology Chair for the DFW chapter of AIA | TEXO, where he has orchestrated a series of accredited panel discussions. He currently oversees his DFW duties remotely from his home office in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he currently resides with his wife and daughter. Passionate about facilitating remote collaboration, he excels in managing out-of-state projects and teams, leveraging technology to ensure seamless coordination from any location.

Jo Schoonover, a Senior Associate at REES, has 27 years of experience in the AEC industry and more than 22 years of experience using Revit. A collaborative leader, she guides project teams, develops and implements BIM processes and is passionate about sharing her knowledge through training and mentorship that help teams deliver successful projects.

Jose Reyes, AIA, CM-BIM brings 25 years of experience in the AEC industry, with a background that spans Architecture and Virtual Design and Construction. Known for his practical approach and tech-forward mindset, he helps teams navigate complex projects with smarter workflows and sustainable solutions. Jose is passionate about collaboration and continuous improvement, always looking for ways to push the industry forward.
Shree Kabra serves as a Digital Technology Specialist at AECOM Hunt, where he has spent the past four years advancing digital construction practices across major projects, including stadiums, airports, and convention centers. Passionate about innovation, he focuses on implementing practical technology solutions in the field and equipping project teams with the knowledge and tools needed to improve efficiency, collaboration, and project delivery.

Shree Kabra serves as a Digital Technology Specialist at AECOM Hunt, where he has spent the past four years advancing digital construction practices across major projects, including stadiums, airports, and convention centers. Passionate about innovation, he focuses on implementing practical technology solutions in the field and equipping project teams with the knowledge and tools needed to improve efficiency, collaboration, and project delivery.

Mr. Gajbhiye has 15+ years of experience leading BIM, VDC, Reality Capture, and innovation in design and construction. He has implemented VDC on 500+ projects totaling over $10B, with expertise spanning estimating, constructability, 4D scheduling, BIM coordination, clash detection, execution planning, prefabrication, and record models including COBie. He specializes in laser scanning and digital twins to support facilities maintenance and is a strategic leader in construction technology adoption, emerging technologies, Lean methodologies, and R&D-driven innovation aligned with business goals.

Larry Kleinkemper, AIA is an Architect with 25 years of experience. Over the last decade he has concentrated on LiDAR scanning of buildings for the creation of highly accurate Building Information Models (BIMs). Mr. Kleinkemper is also a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is a regular speaker at Autodesk University, GEO Week, HxGN, 3D Building Documentation Conference, Texas Society of Architects Convention and the Building Communities Conference.

Mike Hatfield is a Client Executive with HSM EDIFICE Construction Services, where he helps contractors strengthen their teams through estimating, preconstruction, engineering, BIM/VDC, and project support services. He is passionate about building meaningful industry relationships and connecting construction professionals with solutions that improve project outcomes

Esther Eggleston is an Associate vCIO at Rudick Innovation & Technology, where she advises architecture, engineering, and construction leaders on aligning technology investment with business outcomes. She guides general contractors and trade partners through strategic vendor selection, AI education and enablement, and turning data into reporting that informs business decisions.

Ben leads Polk Mechanical’s Virtual Construction and Fabrication operations, connecting detailed model-based coordination with practical fabrication planning and field execution. His teams support complex mechanical and plumbing projects across mission-critical, healthcare, commercial, and industrial environments, with a focus on accuracy, buildability, schedule certainty, and installation readiness. Ben works to strengthen the link between virtual construction, fabrication, and field operations so Polk’s project teams receive clearer information, better-planned work, and fabrication packages that are ready to execute. His leadership centers on using technology, data, and process improvement to help teams work safer, faster, and with greater confidence.
