During this discussion, Amanda Moreno Lake will speak on the development and redevelopment trends of Dallas neighborhoods, specifically highlighting the neighborhood of Oak Cliff. She will discuss her approach to redevelopment that aligns with the existing urban fabric and improves the needs of the community. In addition, she will discuss her collaborative process when working with architects, general contractors, and city officials. Then, City of Dallas officials will discuss their point of view and preferences when collaborating with architects, developers, and general contractors, and inform participants on strategies to stay informed and influence development across Dallas through volunteering on committees, attending town hall meetings, and getting to know their district council members.
