NCTCOG Amendments to the 2024 IBC

Architecture and Design Exchange
September 25, 2025 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Hosted by the AIA Dallas Codes & Standards Committee, Sponsored by Turner Construction

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, established to assist in regional planning. NCTCOG’s purpose is to strengthen both the individual and collective power of local governments and to help them recognize regional opportunities, eliminate unnecessary duplication, and make joint decisions.

NCTCOG’s Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) and its five advisory boards conducted multiple meetings to review the latest editions of the model codes and develop regional amendments. NCTCOG encourages jurisdictions in North Central Texas to adopt the following model construction codes along with their respective regional amendments as expeditiously as their local code adoption process will allow.

This program will review the 2024 Final Recommended Regional Amendments for the building code approved for distribution by Executive Board at their March 27, 2025 meeting.

Complimentary parking is available through Republic Center Valet. Please bring your blue ticket with you to the AD EX for validation. Lunch will be provided for registered participants.

OUR SPEAKER: Warren D. Bonisch, P.E., Principal, Fire Protection Engineer, WJE
