Duncan is Co-Founder, and retired Chairman / CEO of GFF, recipient of the Texas Society of Architects’ prestigious Architecture Firm Award and three-time Dallas AIA Firm-of-the-Year. D Magazine named him one of Dallas’s best architects before the age of 30, he became an AIA Fellow before the age of 40 and has been a D CEO 500 recipient on multiple occasions.

Duncan’s architectural work is diverse, with an emphasis on cultural and corporate projects. He has worked with many of Dallas’ most notable cultural institutions, including the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, AT&T Performing Arts Center, Dallas Arboretum and Dallas Zoo. His corporate work includes Pizza Hut’s World Headquarters, Nokia Americas Headquarters, Capital One’s North Texas Campus and regional headquarters for MedAssets and McAfee. Duncan recently served as Owner Advisor to Dallas Theatre Center for a new master plan for the historic Kalita Humphreys Theater and is currently working with SPCA of Texas on their new $30 MM expansion.

Tipton Housewright FAIA joined OMNIPLAN Architects over 40 years ago. He most recently served as President and CEO of OMNIPLAN from 2010 to 2025. In his role as Principal, he led a wide variety of project types including regional retail and mixed-use projects, innovative contemporary churches, office buildings, multifamily, and higher education projects. He believes in the power of design to positively impact his clients and communities.

Tipton earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. He has served as President of AIA Dallas and the Dallas Center for Architecture. Tipton was named a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 2010. He has had a long history of volunteer leadership and civic involvement. He has been an active Board Member and volunteer at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Society as well as many other non-profit organizations. Tipton has led various community planning initiatives in his northeast Dallas neighborhood for almost 20 years. He has served on the Dallas City Plan Commission for eight years.

Bob Meckfessel, FAIA is an activist architect with extensive experience in the planning and design of award-winning architecture and interiors projects, including mixed-use, retail, office, single/multi-family residential, urban design, and preservation.

He is active in both civic and professional organizations, and has held the position of President of AIA Dallas, the Dallas Architecture Forum, Trinity Commons Foundation, and Preservation Dallas. He has also served, or is serving, on the boards of the Trinity Trust, Texas Society of Architects, the Texas Music Center, the Dallas Architectural Foundation, LaReunion TX, and DOCOMOMO US.

Meckfessel lectures often on planning and design, serves frequently on awards juries, and writes occasionally. He is a LEED Accredited Professional. He was elevated to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects in 2007 and, in 2008, received the Texas Society of Architects Award for Community Service in Honor of James D. Pfluger, FAIA.

Marcel Quimby, FAIA, is principal of Quimby Preservation Studio in Dallas, Texas, where she specializes in preservation architecture and planning. She is committed to the restoration and adaptive use of historic buildings, structures and communities and has led the restoration of both large and small projects ranging in scale from historic log cabins to the Hall of State in Fair Park, a National Historic Landmark. As an architectural historian, she uncovers and tells the story of buildings and communities, connecting them to their context, cultural and social histories.

Marcel holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has served as President of Dallas AIA, of Preservation Dallas, of Dallas Architectural Foundation, Advisor Emeritus of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, service on Dallas Landmark Commission and currently a member of Docomomo’s BTX Board. Her leadership in the local preservation community has been recognized with the Presidents Medal, Dallas Chapter AIA; Dorothy Savage Award, Preservation Dallas, Texas Society of Architects Award for Community Service and their Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Architecture through the Media.
