Marcela Abadi Rhoads, FAIA RAS is the owner of Abadi Accessibility, an accessibility consulting firm that is dedicated to educating the building industry about the laws of accessibility. Marcela is a Fellow of the Americans Institute of Architects and the author of “The ADA Companion Guide” and “Applying the ADA” published by John Wiley and Sons. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin in 1991 and got her architectural license in 1999.  Marcela established her firm in 2004 and has bee assisting the building industry, in part, by producing a monthly newsletter on accessibility topics, performing TDLR reviews and inspections and onsite assessments.

Boon Bowling is the Market Segment Leader for Reality Capture with GPRS. His background in architecture (bachelor’s degree- Texas A&M) and passion for historical preservation, blended with his hands-on field experience – both for GPRS and as an archeology graduate student – give him a unique perspective on the needs of architects, VDCs, designers, and engineers involved in planning, design, and construction.

Tony Casagrande is a Registered Professional Engineer and President of Campos Engineering, a minority owned professional services firm that provides Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering Services through its four Texas offices. Tony oversees the firm’s performance on all contracts, leads innovation in the firm’s services and internal processes, and spearheads Campos’ corporate marketing strategy.

Tony moved to Dallas from Arlington in 1995 to begin his education at Southern Methodist University where he studied Biology and Mechanical Engineering. His career at Campos Engineering started in 1997, where Tony interned for two summers and one semester before joining the firm full-time in 1999 after graduating with his
bachelor’s degree.

Tony is most proud of his contribution to the longterm commitment of the firm to develop the next generation of leaders through intentional recruitment and mentoring of minorities and women. This includes Campos’ Associates Training and Advancement Program that he co-created and administers. This program helps ensure the firm remains in the able hands of excellent future leaders.

Jann Hughes rejoined the Ludowici family three years ago after raising her three children in the Atlanta area. Jann brings with her over 20 years’ experience in the hard roofing industry, working in the Texas and Southeastern part of the US. She is a graduate of Texas Tech with a BS in engineering, beginning her career in the oil industry in Houston prior to moving into sales of hard roofing through a family business.

Cindy Walker is the Ludowici Commercial Market Manager in Texas and joined the company with personal knowledge and experience of Ludowici’s products having lived in both a house and Dallas neighborhood of homes sporting the organization’s roof and quarry tile.  She began working in the Ludowici Dallas Design Center in 2019, initially focused in the Educational sector and now covers all Commercial market segments – Hospitality, Business, Government, Religious and Military.

Ms. Ward serves as Cultural Resources Director for Raba Kistner’s environmental team on cultural resources projects. Prior to serving as Director of Cultural Resources (2024), Ms. Ward served as Assistant Director for three years and Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator for four of her seven years with RKI. Ms. Ward is responsible for the management and coordination of the RKI cultural resources program. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, budget and proposal preparation, and directing field operations. She works closely with clients and oversight agencies to develop project scopes for regulatory review under federal, state, and local compliance, including Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NRHP), the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT), and the City of San Antonio’s Unified Development Code (COSA UDC).

Ms. Ward also serves as Project Manager and Principal Investigator on numerous cultural resource projects and is responsible for developing research designs and scopes of work and along with obtaining appropriate permits. As a Secretary of the Interior qualified Archaeologist, she has served as Principal Investigator on over 50 ACT projects and has a strong working relationship with regulatory agencies such as the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation, the Texas Historical Commission, the Texas Department of Transportation, and the U.S. Corps of Engineers.

Ms. Ward has a M.A. in Anthropology focusing on Cultural Resources Management from Texas Tech University – Lubbock (2013). She has authored and contributed to numerous academic and professional archaeological publications and has presented in multiple professional forums. She has 16 years of experience in cultural resources compliance, specializing in historic and Spanish Colonial archaeology in the San Antonio River basin, and is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (No. 5908). Ms. Ward is also a member of the Council of Texas Archeologists, the Texas Archeological Society, the Society for Historical Archaeology, and the Society for American Archaeology.
