This Hispanic Heritage Month, LiA will be joining UTA LiA to celebrate and recognize all the hard work that goes into the profession and hurdles that members have gone through to get to where they are. As a student, every pinup was just as important as our professional deadlines today. Join us as we share our accomplishments throughout and celebrate the best of LiA and the best that is yet to come.
Aligning with our celebration will be a showing of Alejandro Borges’ work, a faculty member of A&M best known for his visual explorations and published projects in Venezuela. This will be open for viewing. Food will be served, so come join us for some networking – with members spanning all years of the profession – as we keep finding ways to lift each other up through representation.
