Santiago Martinez is a Senior Energy Modeler, ASHRAE Dallas Chapter Member, LEED AP, DGNB accredited consultant and part of the Responsive Design Department at Beck.

Santiago brings 11 years of experience and leadership to his role as Senior Energy Modeler at Beck, supporting all regional offices in the US and Mexico.

Having joined Beck in 2021, has led energy efficiency and climate responsive design analysis for a wide range of projects from faith-based, healthcare, hospitality, work play, and higher education to more than 70 design-build projects in the US and Mexico.

Before life at Beck, Santiago grew up in Tijuana-Mexico situated at the border with San Diego-California. At 18-years old he moved to Monterrey, Nuevo León to study a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics at TEC of Monterrey. In 2013 started working as an energy modeler, and a sustainable building design consultant in Mexico. In 2017 he was selected to be part of the Transsolar Klimaengineering Academy fellowship in Stuttgart, Germany. Where he participated in the competition for the IDeA Place and Displacement, 2018. Winning the first-place award with Brückenschlag project.

Committed to continue growing as a professional, Santiago earned the LEED AP and DGNB international accreditations and actively participates as a member of Beck Latino Network and ASHRAE Dallas Chapter.
