Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need my own gun and ammo?
YES! Bring your own gun and approximately 125 rounds of ammo. More if you plan on buying mulligans. If you forget these items, the pro shop will be open before the tournament.
2. What about clays?
No, Elm Fork will be providing all the clays.
3. What should I wear?
Dress for the weather. It will likely be hot that day, but pants are recommended. Closed toed shoes are also recommended as there is no paved walking path.
4. What else should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, and sunglasses and/or hat. You may want some cash for extra raffle tickets. Goggles and earplugs at your discretion.
5. What about food?
Lunch and dinner are provided.
6. What if it rains?
If the weather is severe, the event may be rescheduled. AIA Dallas will communicate if the event is canceled.
Elm Fork Safety Rules
I. Do not load gun until in the cage or designated shooting position and ready to fire. Only one person shooting at a time.
2. Always keep shotgun barrel pointed down range in a safe direction.
3. Eye and ear protection are mandatory.
4. Never load more than 2 shells in a gun at any given time.
5. Target loads ONLY No shot size larger than 7 ½, 8 or 9 shot size. No shell longer than 2 ¾”. We reserve the right to check your ammo.
6. Any reckless or unsafe driving of golf carts is prohibited. Must be 16 years or older with valid driver license to drive golf carts.
7. Damage to Elm Fork property or equipment is the responsibility of the customer.
8. Guns used must have at least a 21″ barrel and a full stock.
9. Do not attempt to load or fix machines. Please call fork at office and we will send someone down to assist you.
