Who’s Turning Up the Heat? Designing to Mitigate Heat

Architecture and Design Exchange, 325 N. St. Paul Street, Suite 150, Dallas, TX 75201
October 10, 2023 @ 11:45 am - 1:00 pm

Texas has certainly had a heatwave this summer! What can designers do to mitigate the heat, with the added benefit of a reduction in electricity use and carbon emissions? The Committee on the Environment will explain several tools to help in making these design decisions, including THERM by LBNL, the 2030 Palette, and Parson’s Guide. Come enjoy lunch while learning more about what you can do to make your projects more comfortable for building users and the community.

Continuing education credits of 1.0 HSW have been requested. Lunch will be served.
