Project Manager

  • Defines client requirements and establishes project approach.
  • Ensures that all required information for design and planning is obtained and properly communicated to staff and consultants.
  • Manages client/firm relationship and all contractor arrangements.
  • Works closely with designers and project architect in establishing the project schedule, technical requirements, and time and hour budgets; may select team members.
  • Works with other Project Managers within the office to schedule staffing assignments and to oversee training of staff.
  • Directs and reviews the work of project team members, provides performance feedback, ensures team members’ skills and project requirements are appropriately matched.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of relevant work experience
  • Professional degree in architecture
  • Professional registration
  • Design and technical detailing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of construction materials, standards and codes required
