AIA Dallas and TEXO, The Construction Association proudly present the 10th Annual Bark + Build Design/Build Competition to benefit SPCA of Texas’ Home for the Holidays event. Grab your favorite architect or contractor and team up to create one dynamic doghouse or cat condo entry!
This competition serves to foster relationships between architecture and contractor firms and raise awareness and support for SPCA of Texas’ mission while exhibiting to the public the high-quality design and construction value and talent of the participating professional teams! Please join us in making the 10th annual Bark + Build Design/Build Competition a doggone success!
Team registrations are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Each team must consist of one licensed architect/architecture firm and one licensed contractor or contractor firm.
KEY DATES
- Tuesday, June 13: Team Registration Closes (or when the maximum of 25 teams have registered)
- Tuesday, June 18: Team Captains Meeting (mandatory for all participating teams)
- Monday, July 29: Preliminary Designs Due
- Thursday, November 7: Final Design Packet Due
- Thursday, November 21: Installation at NorthPark Center
- Sunday, December 8: Awards Announcement & Celebration
