Michael Friebele, Assoc. AIA

Michael is an Associate Principal with Perkins Eastman based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Dallas, Texas.

A native of the Saint Louis, Missouri area, Michael has channeled his professional and personal experiences as a critical medium throughout his work in architectural design, involvement in the community, and experience in journalism. His work focuses on connections, from physical to historical, as a means of informing performance driven and client/community centered design.

In addition to his practice in architecture, Michael is a writer, having contributed to Texas Architect, The Architects Newspaper, Columns, ENTER, and D Magazine. Michael currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Kansas State College of Architecture, Planning, and Design and the AIA Minnesota Committee on Design.
