Dale E. Selzer, FAIA, was a respected Dallas architect, best known as the president and founding principal of Selzer Associates, an architecture and interior design firm established in 1964. He built a reputation for quality design and committed client service throughout his more than five decades in practice, with his firm receiving thirty-eight national, state, and local design awards over the years. Selzer was inducted as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 1983, recognizing his design excellence and service to the profession.
He earned his degree in Architectural Engineering from Ohio University and led a practice whose portfolio spanned retail, commercial, institutional, religious, and industrial projects both nationally and internationally. Selzer Associates was well-known for its collaborative and client-focused approach, evaluating alternatives and prioritizing energy conservation and community impact on projects.
