Mattia Flabiano, AIA
President, Page
President
Since joining Page in 1980, Mattia’s experience has been focused on complex, mission critical type projects, from Academic Research Institutions, Micro-Electronics Fabrication Facilities and all facility types in the Health Industry. His expertise, experience and management style has provided leadership to Page’s Design Team for many of the firm’s most complex and successful projects. Mattia was elevated to Senior Principal in 1992, one of the youngest shareholders in Page’s 122-year history, and now serves as the firm’s President.
Much of Mattia’s success has been his understanding of the dynamic nature of design in a rapidly changing environment, how a multi-disciplinary group of designers work best in an enhanced collaborative mode and his ability to corral the individual talents of various consultants and partners into a high performing team with client satisfaction as the number on driver. Mattia’s work experience at Page prepared him with the leadership skills which have allowed him to take on leadership positions with many organizations within and outside the profession.
As Page’s representative to the CEO Group of the AIA’s Large Firm Round Table (LFRT), Mattia was asked to serve as the LFRT representative to the AIA ArchiPAC in 2014. He is currently serving as the Chair of ArchiPAC’s Steering Committee through the next election cycle. In 2010, the AIA Dallas Chapter asked Mattia to serve as the architect on the City of Dallas Landmark Commission where he served as the Vice-Chair through 2019. Since 2010, Mattia has served on the Board of Governors for Downtown Dallas Inc (DDI) and in 2016 was nominated to the Board of Directors for DDI as the Secretary/Treasurer and in 2020 will serve as the Chairman of the Board. In 2016, Mattia was nominated to serve on the Dallas Center for Architecture Board of Directors.
Michael Malone, FAIA

Michael Malone, FAIA is the founding principal of Malone Maxwell Dennehy Architects, a full-service architectural firm based in Dallas, Texas. Since 1992, the firm has specialized in the design of retail and commercial interiors, single and multifamily residential, facilities for worship, and corporate marketing centers. The award-winning practice is frequently published in professional and shelter publications and is widely recognized for its thoughtful and considered designs. In 2013 the firm was selected as the Firm of the Year by the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Michael is a frequent contributor to professional journals and is a Contributing Editor for Texas Architect magazine. He is the author of “The Architects Guide to Residential Design” published in 2010 by McGraw Hill.
Active in the Texas Society of Architects, he was the 2015 President. Previously he served as President Elect, Vice President for Outreach, Chairman of the Publications Committee, Chairman of the Texas Society of Architects Design Committee, and Chairman of the Honors and Awards committee. He initiated and chaired the first three Texas Society of Architects Design Conferences in 2011, 2012 and 2013. He currently serves as the President of the Texas Architectural Foundation and chairs the AIA Dallas Community Honors Committee. He is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and conventions, with his programs focused primarily on the importance of design, the role of drawing in design and issues affecting the architectural profession. He was elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 2017.
Bradley Fritz, AIA

Bradley Fritz is a Senior Theatre Design Consultant with Charcoalblue, providing consultancy in all aspects of theater design, specializing in auditorium design and planning, seating, sightlines and accessibility. Based here in Dallas but working globally, his expertise in theatre performance, technical systems, and design helps Architects create beautiful and functional performance spaces customized for each client. Among Bradley’s passions is championing equitable design and diversifying the Architecture profession.
In 2021, after years of serving in diversity, equitability, and inclusion roles for both AIA Iowa and AIA Chicago, he joined the AIA Dallas Board of Directors and founded the LGBTQIA+ Alliance. He is a graduate of Drury University Hammons School of Architecture and earned his MBA through University of Illinois at Chicago.
Gianna Pigford, AIA, NOMA, LEED AP BD+C

With over 20 years of experience, Gianna Pigford has provided a wealth of project leadership, managing the construction documentation and administration of several projects throughout the United States. Gianna received a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Mississippi State University, is a registered architect in multiple states, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a NCARB certified architect.
Currently a Principal and Program Manager at Stantec in its architectural practice, Gianna brings her retail, industrial, and workplace experience to the Plano, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona offices to foster new client relationships and project opportunities while managing existing project development programs. Pigford has built a reputation for strong project delivery, design integration, sustainable design and innovative initiatives.
Gianna is an active member of the Dallas community as well as committed to professional and community improvement on the state, national, and international levels. She redefines the essence of community outreach. She seeks out organizations that share her personal mantra “to educate, empower, and embrace”. She actively engages in these organizations’ missions and uses her strength in professional leadership to help others excel. Most recently, at the national level, Gianna has been elected to the AIA Strategic Council as a 2021-2022 At-Large Representative and appointed to the ULI national Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Council and the Women’s Leadership Initiative’s Executive Committee. Locally, Gianna serves as a chair of the Urban Land Institute DFW Women’s Leadership Initiative Committee, Chair Elect of CoreNet North Texas, serves as advisor to CoreNet North Texas’ EMPOWER committee, and sits on the AIA Dallas Board of Directors as an Ex-officio Officer.
Additionally, Gianna has been involved in several community and professional organizations throughout her career: DFW NOMA, Texas Society of Architects, NCARB, International Council of Shopping Centers, NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association North Texas, CREW Dallas, Dallas Chamber Young Professionals, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Girl Scouts of America North Texas, and ACE Mentors.
Gianna’s commitment to excellence, strength in professional leadership, and passion for mentorship all contributed to her being named one of Dallas Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2015. And in 2022, Gianna received the Texas Society of Architect’s award for Equitable Practice in Architecture in honor of John S. Chase, Jr. FAIA.
Jennifer Workman, AIA
Architecture Director at VLK Architects
TxA Director (First of two-year term)
Jennifer Workman is the Architecture Director for the Dallas location of VLK Architects where she manages the operations of the architecture unit and is responsible for implementing strategies and procedures to ensure the firm continues to produce designs with the highest quality. With more than 20 years of experience, she has experience working with museums, civic, corporate retail, K-12, corporate offices, and multi-family projects.
Jennifer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and immediately moved to Dallas to begin her career. Her engaged leadership, project experience, communication skills, and management capabilities are a direct result of her active involvement in the AEC industry and community. She previously served as a board member with AIA Dallas, Texas Society of Architects, and AIA National, while also chairing numerous board committees within each organization. She has participated in presentations at the TxA Conference, AIA National Convention, and AIA Grassroots.
Jennifer continuously engages in research to help elevate and evolve the practice of architecture and has received numerous awards for her thought leadership and forward-thinking project solutions. In addition to being the AIA YAF Connection Editor from 2009-2011, Workman also contributed to AIA Dallas’ Columns and to the Texas Architect Magazine. Recognized for her dedication to the industry, she received a National Young Architect Award in 2013, 40 Under 40 from Building + Design in 2014, the TxA 2016 Award for Young Professional Achievement and the 2004 AIA Dallas Associate of the Year Award.
