Maryam Emadi is an Architectural Designer at WRA Architects, where her work focuses on the design and coordination of K–12 educational environments. She also has experience in residential and commercial projects. Having practiced architecture in Iran and the United States, she brings a cross-cultural perspective to how design can support community, learning, and sustainability.
Maryam received the 2024 AIA San Antonio Student Design Award. She also presented at the AIA Dallas Women in Architecture event, sharing her project Seeds of Change, which explores how energy-efficient schools can reduce operational costs, foster environmental awareness, and serve as community hubs, particularly in underserved areas.
She is especially interested in sketching and photography, exploring the relationship between art and architecture, and drawing inspiration from cultural narratives and material expression.
